The Women of Gases and Welding (WGW), GAWDA’s newest committee, continues to promote our mission “to enhance the success of women in the gases and welding industry” as well as “foster a more diverse and inclusive environment for women” in our GAWDA membership.  Several WGW members will be in Colorado Springs participating in this year’s GAWDA Annual events. Look for our purple ribbon on our badge. We would love to talk with you.

The Women of Gases and Welding would like to thank all those who have signed up for our upcoming GAWDA Annual WGW Lunch & Hiking Networking event! Seven Falls is known to be “The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado”. It should be a gorgeous experience to share among your peers. This event is sold out however we do have a waiting list in place for any last-minute changes/availability. Please find or email Judy Miller at jmiller@wescoweld.com if you are interested.

The Women of Gases and Welding Committee would like to recognize our generous sponsors who have donated to our new Educational Grant. The Women of Gases & Welding (WGW) Educational Grant Program will provide financial support to a GAWDA female member to attend the University of Innovative Distribution in March of each year. One of our top objectives is to enhance the success of women in the gases and welding industry and our sponsors support strongly aids in that effort. Thank you.
