GAWDA extends its condolences to the friends and family of Jason Charles Kreiger, who passed away on August 3rd, 2025, at the age of 53. Jason went to school at Valparaiso High School public school system, playing basketball. After graduating high school, he went to college at Purdue University, majoring in Communications and serving as the president of Sigma Nu. Post-graduation, he spent most of his professional career with Praxair, moving on to American Welding and Gas in 2017 where he served as CEO.
At the helm of AWG, he spent the remaining years of his professional career leading and bringing the company prosperity. Jason is survived by his spouse Amy and his three children; Ethan of Minneapolis, MN, Griffin of Lexington, KY, and Brecken of Raleigh, NC; parents Charles and Judith Krieger of Valparaiso, IN; and brother Joshua Krieger of Valparaiso, IN.
