The state of West Virginia has certified Butler Gas to distribute medical gases from its Morgantown location.
Now credentialed to distribute medical gases from its Pennsylvania and West Virginia locations, Butler Gas supplies medical bulk and microbulk oxygen systems, oxygen USP (United States Pharmacopeia) cylinders, nitrogen NF (National Formulary) cylinders, and medical nitrous oxide cylinders to licensed medical facilities.
Compressed medical gases are used in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease in human beings and animals. Butler’s medical gas supply network delivers medical gases like oxygen to piped distribution systems at health care facilities. Oxygen USP and medical air USP provide direct assistance for breathing and also assist in the delivery of medical treatments. Oxygen USP, medical air USP, and medical gas mixtures are used in hyperbaric chambers. Nitrogen NF is used to operate power tools during patient care procedures.
Compressed medical gases are often supplied to a piped distribution system by a cryogenic central supply such as a bulk tank, cylinders connected to a manifold system, or a temporary supply system. Butler Gas installs and maintains these systems in compliance with CGA M-1, applicable regulations, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) current good manufacturing practices (CGMP).
