The IWDC hosted its 2022 Sales and Purchasing Convention from May 24-26, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Attendees were treated to three days of networking opportunities, educational training classes and the resurgence of Gas Day. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour Absolute Air in Faribault, Minnesota. Absolute Air is a consortium of IWDC Members Mississippi Welders Supply, Toll Company, Huber Supply, and A-Ox Welding Supply along with Minneapolis Oxygen.
This year’s Sales and Purchasing Convention also featured some other changes that included:
- Sponsored Educational Training Seminars: Vendor experts spoke on various topics geared toward educating Members to make them even more valuable to their customers.
- Gas Day: A day dedicated to plant and operations people. Educational seminars geared at improving Members’ operations with emphasis on fill plants, assets, and gas-related equipment.
- Booth Program and Party: Knowledge is important, but so is knowing the right people and knowing where to turn when you need answers. The booth party enabled Members to get to know some of the best people in the industry, our Vendor Partners!
