Linde Gas & Equipment Acquires Middlesex Gases & Technologies
Middlesex Gases & Technologies was acquired by Linde Gas & Equipment effective December 19, 2024. Middlesex Gases has a 75-year history in the Greater Boston area, with a focus on the life sciences and biotechnology markets. With this business combination, Linde Gas & Equipment expands its position in the New England region and enhances its capabilities to serve these critical customers.

Holston Gases Acquires Tri-Cities Dry Ice
Holston Gases completed the acquisition of Tri-Cities Dry Ice, which has operations in southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee. Holston Gases will service these new customers from their operation located at 1150 Spratlin Park Dr., Gray, TN 37915.
Holston Gases President Joe Baxter Said, “We are very pleased to add Tri-Cities Dry Ice to the Holston Family. Combining their customer base with our distribution and production capabilities, Holston will be able to expand its dry ice distribution further into southern and central Virginia.”

Holston Gases Invests in Specialty Gas
Holston Gases announced on its website that it continues to invest in its specialty gas brand with the installation of a Weldcoa Sur-Fill IQ-S Auto Blend Cell capable of producing high quality calibration standards ranging from “percent” to parts per billion levels.
Holston President Joe Baxter added, “The accuracy and production capacity of this equipment allows Holston to better serve our customers with high quality calibration standards at reduced lead times.”
