New President and three Executive Vice Presidents lead the company’s next chapter
OMAHA, Neb., October 6, 2026 – Helget Gas Products, Inc. (HGP), one of the nation’s largest independent gas suppliers, today announced that Nate Lane has been named President of the company. Lane succeeds James F. “Jim” Helget, who founded the company and is retiring from the President’s role. Helget will continue with the company as Executive Chairman of the Board.
As part of the company’s planned leadership transition, HGP is also announcing three executive promotions:

Monica Kehn, Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Operations. Kehn leads human resources, payroll, benefits, insurance, and corporate operations, along with the compliance that supports them, across all HGP locations.

Josie Haumont, Executive Vice President of Finance & Customer Operations. Haumont leads the company’s financial strategy, including accounting and billing, and oversees customer experience and support teams that serve customers at every HGP location.

Kate Secora, Executive Vice President of Safety & Risk Management. Secora leads safety programs and risk management across all HGP locations, helping keep employees, customers, and communities safe.

As President, Lane will lead day-to-day operations in partnership with the executive team. Helget will stay involved as Executive Chairman, offering strategic guidance and supporting a smooth, orderly transition.

Lane, Kehn, Haumont, and Secora will also serve on HGP’s newly created Executive Management Committee, along with Jim Helget. The committee will guide the company’s strategic direction and make sure major decisions reflect input from every part of the business.
