Earl Alexander, a truly hard-working and dedicated man, born on July 20, 1939, in Pasadena, Texas, and a long-standing resident of Lone Star, Texas. Earl passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of diligence and integrity on Monday, December 22, 2025 while in a Longview hospital.
Earl Alexander proudly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner and operator of A&E Machine Shop in Lone Star, where his work ethic and commitment to excellence set high standards in the industry.
A devout member of the Lone Star Methodist Church, Earl’s faith was an integral part of his life. He cultivated a passion for sailing and cherished his time working on a shrimp boat, experiences that brought him immense joy and peace throughout his life.
Earl’s family was his pride and joy. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Billie Sue Alexander, and a loving father to his daughters, Angie Allison and Jana Haynes, both of Lone Star. His legacy continues through his grandson, Jason Haynes; his granddaughters, Amber Blear and her husband, Jason, Jamee Haynes; and his great-grandson, Dawson Blear; and great-granddaughter, Allie Sue Blear.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Krider and Frances Alexander, and his cherished wife, Billie Sue Alexander.
Earl Alexander’s life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and family. His memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him and were inspired by his example.
A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date. Honoring his requests, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Horn Family Funeral Home and Cremations of Daingerfield. Donations can be made in his memory to the Lone Star Methodist Church, P. O. Box 0133, Lone Star, Texas 75668.
