According to a post on the company LinkedIn Page, American Welding & Gas (AWG) has named Matt Cavalier as its new Executive Vice President of Sales.
“In this role, Matt will lead enterprise-wide sales initiatives that support our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving sustainable growth across the organization.
Matt brings over 20 years of sales leadership experience in the industrial gases industry, including 12 impactful years with Air Products. Throughout his career, he has built high-performing teams, strengthened customer partnerships, and driven consistent results across competitive markets.
A Chicago native, Matt and his wife Bridie are proud parents of four children. Matt is a devoted husband and father as well as an enthusiastic fan of his favorite Chicago teams—the Bears and Cubs.
Outside of work, Matt and his family enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and hiking and are excited to explore everything the Carolinas have to offer. Matt’s leadership, industry expertise, and customer-first mindset will play a key role in advancing AWG’s mission and elevating our sales strategy across the enterprise.”
