The 2026 GAWDA Northeast Regional Meeting was held from February 23-25, 2026 in Killington, Vermont. Despite portions of the Northeast being blasted by a Nor’easter over the weekend, dozens of members still made the trek to the mountain resort for three days of education, networking, and winter fun. When handed lemons, the Northeast Regional made lemonade, opting to livestream the educational portions of the event on Monday and Wednesday so that the registrants who couldn’t make it to Vermont could still participate.
The event kicked off on Monday afternoon with two presentations: one discussing advancements in artificial intelligence and its use in sales, and the other discussing business valuations.
Then, Tuesday was devoted entirely to networking, as attendees had the option of spending the day skiing, snowmobiling or ice skating, before returning for a networking happy hour and dinner, which featured a trivia contest.
The event concluded on Wednesday with presentations touching on the economy in 2026, a GAWDA update, and live-streamed presentations from past GAWDA Presidents Jenny McCall and Wally Brant, and Asterisk’s Andre Marte. Regional Co-Chair Michael Trueba also gave a presentation on PFAs. Following a boxed lunch, attendees concluded the event with snow-tubing and dinner.
