According to an article from the Daily American, Dale Oxygen has opened its new location near Somerset, PA. From the article:
Johnstown industrial gas supply company Dale Oxygen will open a new branch this week along Berlin Plank Road near Somerset.
President Evan Bennear said this will be the fourth location for the family-owned business. The others are in Johnstown, Indiana and Altoona.
“We stock and supply industrial gases, welding supplies, industrial tools and safety equipment,” Bennear said. “Dale Oxygen is a distributor for recognized welding and cutting equipment brands such as Lincoln Electric, Hypertherm and Miller Electric, to name a few.”
How many employees?
According to Bennear, the location will have three or four employees. They’re to sell cylinder gases, welding equipment and other supplies. They’ll also offer to refill propane containers and deliver to commercial customers throughout the Somerset area.
“Dale Oxygen has been honored to serve a wide range of customers in the Somerset region for many years out of our Johnstown location, but the growing demand for our products and services really made us evaluate at adding a physical location to Somerset,” Bennear said.
Why Somerset?
Route 219 makes deliveries much easier for companies, and Dale Oxygen’s new location will be just a few hundred yards from the major highway.
“We are experiencing growth in Western Maryland and Northeast West Virginia. U.S. 219’s Southbound extensions also promoted a location in Somerset as we can easily service businesses much more efficiently past Pennsylvania’s southern border,” Bennear said.
“Dale Oxygen is very excited to add Somerset community to our network of locations to better serve our existing customers and new customers in the future. … The entire team at Dale Oxygen has worked very hard to grow our company over the years, and this expansion is a testament to their dedication and commitment to our goals as an organization.”
