Donna Conrad retired from Superior Products. To commemorate her retirement and celebrate her legacy, several people submitted comments about Donna to GAWDA Media. A sampling can be found below:
“Donna Conrad’s retirement from the Packaged Gases industry leaves a great legacy. She had no idea from early days promoting balloon inflators on the floor of a Florist & Party Supplies Trade Show that she would pioneer a path for ladies in an otherwise male dominated industry. Her path, punctuated with genuine grace and friendship, set a very high bar – a challenge accepted by so many fine ladies who daily contribute to organizations and industry leadership. Thank you, Donna, enjoy leaving knowing you are truly an “A” Player.” – Ken Thompson
“We wish Donna the best years of her life as she moves into retirement. Donna will be missed by everyone within the Industrial Gas markets as her smile and energy have always been a bright light in the room. Her many years of service and dedication to the Industrial Gas markets have touched hundreds of people over her career. On behalf of all of them, may her retirement be the best part of her life. We will miss you.” – Bob Paul, Vice President of Sales, RegO Products
“It’s rare to have one individual influence, motivate, lead, and excel in her chosen profession; however, Donna Conrad is one such person. After celebrating 46 inspirational, tireless and successful years in the compressed gas industry, Donna deserves the enjoyment that retirement beckons. Superior Products is proud to have had Donna on board for many years, bringing her boundless energy and industry knowledge to enhance our industry presence. Personally, I am privileged to have had Donna as my mentor and friend. Join us in celebrating a great woman and a stellar career. We raise a glass to Donna – wishing her many fun times and bottles of wine!” – Allyson Kostalnick, Sales & Marketing Manager, Superior Products
“I had the pleasure and honor to work with Donna at Engineered Controls International, LLC and later on as a distributor. On both sides, she was just amazing! I always say, ‘Common Sense is not Common,’ well she definitely had the best common sense, with incredible experience and knowledge of the industry. She is definitely a hunter and she took excellent care of her customers. By the way, did I mentioned that working with Donna was also fun? She kept a great environment inside and outside the office with the most professional attitude. I am sad we won’t see Donna that often, but I am very happy for her because she worked hard and she deserves the best retirement life… Thank you Donna!!!” – Rafael Arvelo, General Manager, EQUIGAS, Inc.
On behalf of everybody at GAWDA Media, we wish Donna the best of luck and happiness in retirement! Thank you for your contributions to the association and the industry.
