Terrace Supply Names Steve Lichtenheld as President
For only the 3rd time in the 77 year history of Terrace Supply – we have the TREMENDOUS honor of announcing our new President….Steve Lichtenheld has taken the reigns and is undoubtedly the MOST qualified, experienced and capable person who has ever stepped into this role!
Steve came to Terrace after graduating from Wheaton College (in 3 ½ years!) then almost four years in the restaurant industry before coming on board! He started his career with us, working in the warehouse and mixing paint. He progressed over time to the front counter and then managed the purchasing becoming our first Certified Procurement Manager! After training his replacement – Steve has been serving as Vice President of Operations. It’s safe to say he has more than surpassed his old man in both ability and drive! We are honored to announce the next generation at Terrace Supply!
Chuck Mazoch Named IWDC Bob Jackson Award Winner
In recognition of his contributions to IWDC, the Industrial Gas & Welding Industry, and the surrounding greater Beaumont, Texas community, Chuck Mazoch, Coastal Welding Supply, was presented the Bob Jackson Memorial Award at IWDC’s November 12 – 14 Owners’ Meeting in Rancho Mirage, California.
Bob Jackson played an integral part in the formation of the Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative (IWDC). The honor is bestowed annually upon a Member who has “gone above and beyond” in their support of the organization. The Bob Jackson Award is considered the preeminent award of the IWDC. Criteria for the award include a strong volunteer spirit, support of independents, being viewed internally and externally as a respected leader, engagement in our industry and community, and family-centric.
Coastal Welding Supply was founded in 1963 by Al Mazoch, Chuck’s father. Chuck became president in 2009 when Coastal Welding Supply operated two locations. During his leadership, Coastal expanded to twelve locations serving the petrochemical, metal fabrication, and analytical services customers along the Gulf Coast in Texas and Louisiana. Chuck led their expansion into specialty gases, and today, Coastal is one of the premier specialty gas providers in the nation.

CK Supply Inc. Celebrates Groundbreaking Expansion Ceremony in Riverside Missouri
CK Supply Inc., a leader in industrial gases and welding supplies, proudly announces its expansion in Riverside, Missouri marking a significant investment of over 10 million dollars. Executive Vice President of CK Supply Brad Dunn, President of Miller Stauch Construction Duane Dean, and Riverside Mayor Kathy Rose, expressed excitement over the company’s new facility, set to become a central hub for the Kansas City region.
“We are thrilled to expand our footprint here in Riverside,” said Dunn. “This strategic move aligns with our mission to better serve our community, customers, and employee-owners by enhancing our operational capacity and creating new jobs.” This expansion is due in part by two other recent milestones for CK Supply including the 2023 Acquisition of Welds Supply Inc. and a 2021 Employee Ownership Stock Plan transition. “Our goal is to represent Riverside well and be active community stewards,” Dunn added.
Mayor Kathy Rose highlighted the shared history and values between Riverside and CK Supply, celebrating the mutual growth and transformation of both the company and the city. “This project represents not just an investment in infrastructure but a commitment to the people and the future of Riverside,” said Rose.
The Riverside expansion reflects CK Supply’s longstanding commitment to community stewardship and local economic growth. The new facility, designed to serve a 200-mile radius, will help the company meet growing demand while offering exceptional service.
During construction, CK Supply will remain open and operating out of its existing facility and is actively welcoming new customers looking for a strong partnership when it comes to compressed gases, welding equipment, and dry ice.

Butler Gas Announces Three New Promotions
Butler Gas announced the promotions of Chris Armstrong, John Proano and Cameron Sallee.
“Chris joined Butler Gas in March 2020 from one of our wholesale customers after they sold, and he scratch-started our branch in Morgantown, West Virginia five months later. His operations experience in The United States Coast Guard and his industry experience as a welder offered a natural transition to technical outside sales helping our industrial/ fabrication customers. His career experience in commercial trucking and purchasing led to branch operations management. To launch our new fiscal year last month, Chris was promoted to Regional General Manager. Chris is a member of the Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) Industry Partnering Committee, and the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) Industrial Gas Apparatus Committee.
“John was appointed Vice President of Manufacturing. He joined Butler Gas at our New Brighton branch in January 2020 following a successful career in banking. His real operations leadership roots were planted in collegiate athletics and The United States Marine Corps. John played college football and ran track-and-field all four years. After college he enlisted in the USMC as a military police officer. John exudes passion for giving back to his community, including volunteering in Rotary (President and Board Member), football and basketball coaching, New Brighton Business District Authority, Memorial Day Association, Veterans Affairs Services of New Brighton, Merrick Art Gallery, Twelve Loaves Soup Kitchen, New Brighton Comprehensive Planning Commission, Beaver County YMCA, and Masonic Lodge.
Cameron started Monday as Vice President of Finance. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) prior to entering private industry, Cameron provided outsourced accounting, consulting, audit, assurance, and tax preparation services to clients similar to Butler Gas. He is an avid community volunteer who has served as Treasurer for Lexington Theatre Company, Board Member for Arbor Youth Services, Steering Committee member for Junior Achievement Leadership Lexington Youth Program, and Steering Committee member for Commerce Lexington Emerging Leaders of the Bluegrass. We are thrilled to welcome Cameron to the Butler Gas Family.
