In its company newsletter, Butler Gas Products announced that its Morgantown location had been recognized by the CGA.
“The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) recognized our Butler Gas Morgantown facility for maintaining an incident-free safety performance record for more than 250,000 hours. We are proud to celebrate this major safety milestone achieved by our Morgantown, West Virginia team!
That’s the equivalent of 15 million minutes of safe operations without a single injury. It is a powerful, real-world reflection of our #1 core belief from our founders Jack and Millie Butler: 100% Safety.
Every minute of that achievement came from intentional decisions: Shannon’s pre-trip inspections done right, Andy’s protective gear worn consistently while filling cylinders and serving customers, Shawn’s proactive identification and mitigation of hazards at customer sites with value-adding service, and Chris’s leadership of his teammates to look out for one another while representing this region on the Butler Gas Safety Committee. Safety at 245 S Plant St in Morgantown isn’t just a policy, it’s our Butler Gas way of life.
In a hazardous industry, this kind of performance doesn’t happen by chance. It happens because of culture. Because of the boots on the ground choosing to do the right thing, the safe thing, even when no one is watching.
Please join us in congratulating our Morgantown team on this accomplishment and for reminding us all what it looks like when a culture of care and discipline leads the way. We are grateful for the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) recognizing this achievement and for their ongoing leadership in advancing safety standards, best practices, and a shared industry commitment to protecting people and communities.
Here’s to the next 250,000 hours, incident-free, minute by minute, 100% safe.”
Congratulations to the entire Butler Gas Team.
