Toll Company announced that Jim Quicksell, president of Toll Company, retired on November 1 after 36 years Toll. During the course of his 36 years, Jim served as Credit Manager, HR Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President and his final stop as President of Toll Company. Under Jim’s leadership, Toll consolidated its retail locations, expanded its rental fleet & lab capabilities and joined with 4 other independent welding distributors to build an air separation plant in Faribault, MN. FMCSA Delays Compliance Date for States’ Query to Clearinghouse.  The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has delayed the requirement that States request information from the Drug and Alcohol Testing Clearinghouse about individuals before completing certain commercial driver’s license transactions for those drivers. 84 Fed. Reg. 68052 (December 13, 2019).  The States’ compliance with this requirement, currently due to begin on January 6, 2020, is delayed until January 6, 2023. This rule will, however, allow States the option to voluntarily request Clearinghouse information beginning on January 6, 2020. The generous employees of Weiler Abrasives Group, the Cresco-based global abrasives manufacturer, raised more than $40,000 in their annual campaign benefiting Pocono Mountains United Way.
