GAWDA extends its condolences to the friends and family of Donald Stobaugh, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Donald spent a career in the welding and industrial gas industry.
“After high school, he attended Tulsa Welding School, where he began building the foundation for a lifelong career in the welding supply and industrial gas industry. Â He worked at Flint Steel before beginning his entrepreneurial journey. Â In 1978, he co-founded D&M Welding Supply, followed by Alloy Welding Supply in 1982, and later Tulsa Gas & Gear in 2011. His vision and work ethic left a lasting mark on the industry and his community. Don retired from Tulsa Gas & Gear in 2021.”
