Noble Gas Solutions Hosts Grand Opening for Utica, NY Branch

Noble Gas Solutions held a grand opening event at its new 1109 Oriskay St. W branch location in Utica, NY on Wednesday, November 15. More than a dozen representatives from the company were on-hand for the event, which included a ribbon cutting, recognition from the local Chamber of Commerce as well as the Assembly, welding demonstrations for customers, special sales, raffles and coffee and donuts for all in attendance.

Noble Gas Solutions CEO Colleen Kohler was interviewed for a segment by WKTV in Utica during the event. Check out the company’s LinkedIn post to view the video.

Mark Haun Receives IWDC’s Bob Jackson Award

At the IWDC Owner’s Meeting, which took place from November 7-10 in Cape Neddick, Maine, Haun Welding Supply Inc. Chairman of the Board Mark Haun was awarded the prestigious “Bob Jackson Memorial Award.” The Bob Jackson Memorial Award is in recognition of his contributions to IWDC, the Industrial Gas and welding Industry, and the surrounding greater Syracuse, New York community.

American Welding & Gas Welcomes Jack Fitzgerald as Branch Manager in Northwest Houston

American Welding & Gas, Inc. announced that Jack Fitzgerald joined the organization as the Branch Manager in Northwest Houston, reporting to Andy Eberhard, Branch Operations Manager.

Jack grew up in the welding industry, shadowing his dad, a heavy equipment mechanic, very closely. In 2004, Jack hit the road as a driver for Roberts Oxygen. He quickly grew his career to include time as a service technician and a backup inside sales representative. Jack moved to Florida in 2016 to work for Airgas as an inside salesperson in Orlando and made his way to assistant Branch Manager rather quickly. In 2019, he was promoted to Branch Manager of the Cocoa, FL location for Airgas, prior to joining AWG.

 Vern Lewis Welding Supply Adds Hydro Testing

In a post on the company’s LinkedIn page, Vern Lewis Welding Supply announced that it is adding hydro testing at its distribution center. “This is a big step for our company that will benefit both us and our customers!”
